This three day course is the standard for seafarers designated to provide medical first aid on board ship.
Competencies on completion of this course include:
Ability to apply first aid in the event of an accident/illness o board Provide medical care to the sick and injured while they remain on board Participate in co-ordinated schemes for medical assistance to ships.
Course complies with STCW 78 as amended code.
